Verde por el Clima

En el "newsletter" de los presentadores de The Climate Project, el proyecto liderado por Al Gore, han incluido unas notas acerca de la charla que di en la prisión más la foto en la que salgo con algunos de los compañeros que asistieron. Así que sepas que al propio Al Gore y a unas 2000 personas de cinco continentes que por todo el mundo están dando chalas sobre el cambio climático les ha llegado información sobre el Aula de la Naturaleza. Yo les preparé a petición de ellos el artículo más extenso que te adjunto, pero han seleccionado sólo un trozo. Espero que este artículo pueda servirte como el texto que me pediste. Rafael Blázquez Madrid

 

TCP Spain Presenter Rafael Blázques Madrid, Coordinator of Verde por el Clima, gave a TCP presentation for the inmates of the Cordoba State Penitentiary this quarter. The presentation was organized by Aula de la Naturaleza, an organization that is working with the prison on an ongoing basis. Forty people attended to the presentation and were very interested, participative and engaged. Rafael stated that it was one of the best audiences he has had so far: "Some people might think that there is no sense talking about Climate Change to someone who is incarcerated. But that's very far from reality; it makes a lot of sense. The Spanish Constitution states that any prisoner should be re-educated and re-inserted back to society. It's our job also to inform them the path the climate change is having in our society and hoping that one day when they can enjoy freedom again will have enough information to make the change."
TCP Spain is very proud to have presenters like Rafael who are making a great effort to educate people about climate change even in the most unexpected places.
